Programme overview
Develop tools and techniques to assist people with physical, mental, developmental, cognitive and emotional disabilities in achieving their career and independent living goals. Entry guidance from the prospectus: Certificate IV (NCQF Level 4), for example BGCSE or equivalent, with a minimum of 30 points. Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Accumulation and Transfer may be considered. The curriculum includes a supervised practicum and a choice of two electives from Spiritual and Religious Counselling, Marital Counselling and Trauma Counselling.
